So there was a busy start to the week today. I was privileged to join Bill Shorten MP (next PM of Australia I hope), Tanya Plibersek (Deputy Leader of the ALP) shadow ministers, people with disability, family members and allies at the offices of SHOUT in Canberra to speak to media about why we need a Royal Commission into abuse of people with disability.
Stellar job by Greens Senator Jordan Steele-John to lead the campaign inside parliament.

But -- as you can read here in The Guardian -- there's work still to do with this stubborn Coalition government (staggering like a punch drunk sailor to the end of its days).
