Skating With Angels

Show me life’s grand plan,

its blueprint,

its set of instructions,

its technical specification,

its operating parameters

and load factors.

Show me how life’s plan

is meant to work,

is meant to be,

and I will show you fools

skating over ice so thin

that angels wouldn’t

contemplate such folly

nor try to count themselves

caught dancing on life’s pin.
